Open a trade accountYes, as long as the tiles are sound and roughly flat. Knock off any that sound hollow, fill the gaps, then bed the panel on adhesive. You lose about 12mm off the room. The one thing to check is that your shower tray or bath edge still has enough lip to seal against once the panel thickness is added.
A jigsaw with a fine down-cut blade, or a circular saw with a laminate blade for long straight rips. Cut face-up with a jigsaw and face-down with a circular saw so any chipping ends up on the hidden side. Tap holes go in with a hole saw at low speed.
A standard three-wall enclosure at 2350mm high takes four shower panels, three H-joints, two end caps and three tubes of adhesive — roughly £460 retail or £330 on a trade account. Use the calculator above with your own measurements for an exact figure.
Not if they’re sealed properly. Every joint takes a bead of panel sealant inside the trim before the panel goes in — not silicone over the top afterwards. The trim is a mechanical joint; the sealant is what makes it waterproof.
A 150mm sample of any finish is £2 including postage, refunded against your order. Trade account holders get the first five free. If you’re local, the full-size boards are standing in the showroom and you’re welcome to see them under proper light.
30 days on uncut, unfitted panels in their original packaging. Cut-to-size panels are made to your measurements so they can’t be returned unless faulty. Damaged deliveries: photograph the packaging before you sign and we’ll replace it free.
